About MMA Afterschool
In the fall of 2021 Maud Morgan Arts Afterschool merged with it’s ‘sister program’ (Maria Baldwin Community Center’s Children’s Programs), ‘In an effort to make our arts programming more accessible for families who rely on us for childcare, our arts programming revamped the structure of our program. Our programs are a school year length commitment.
Aligning MMA Arts Afterschool with Maria Baldwin Community Center was the natural step post covid of rebuilding our programs to be more inclusive to our community members. “Our Children’s Programs have provided safe and enriching programming for children for over forty years. We serve a rich cultural community, providing a safe neighborhood environment where families and children can make friends, have fun, respect one another, and enjoy learning. We pride ourselves on an exceptional staff of teachers who are caring, attentive, and creative.”
Vision & Values
Maud Morgan was a well-known and beloved artist of great talent and vibrancy, and an Agassiz neighborhood resident. She lived her life deeply in art, and her spirit continues to inspire and guide Maud Morgan Arts. We envision a world where all people are enriched by the visual arts and inspired to explore their own creativity. Our classes, workshops and programs offer high-quality instruction to people of all ages, talents and income levels.
