Starting on November 17, Fountain Street Gallery in Framingham opens a new exhibit: “In Place,” featuring the work of two Boston-area artists, Cory Munro Shea and Mia Cross. The show, which displays a variety of each artist’s work, including mixed media, installation, painting, and sculpture, centers on the notion of ‘home’. Shea and Cross’s work carry similar themes of femininity, beauty, and nostalgia, while walking the line between a feeling of innocence and a sometimes more ominous narrative.
